Size of tyre for vitz

I want to know what is the ideal spec for tires of vitz ?and do tires have effect on fuel consumption ?

Wa Alaikum Salam. Yes, tires do affect fuel consumption. Unusual tires, wider tires, large rim size as compared to stock / OEM recommendation, decrease fuel consumption considerably, and also affect suspension. Ideal tires will be the one which are nearest to stock / OEM recommendations.

Stock Tyres for Vitz 3rd gen are 165/70 R14 but this size is difficult in Branded Tyres.

Mostly in Pakistan Vitz users do use 185/70 R14 or 185/65 R14.

I am using 185/65 R14 and it makes the ground clearance slightly up being slight bigger than stock tyres.

165/70 R14 is 874 Revs/Mile
185/65 R14 is 860 Revs/Mile

It means that when your meter shows that you are at speed of 100 Km/hr, then in reality you are at 101.5 km/hr in actual if you are using 185/65 R14.

so in this case , if your meter shows the fuel average @ 15 Km/Litre, then in actual you are getting 15.23 Km/litre fuel average
