Smart Entry System Not working

Hello Pakwheelers!
The smart entry system of my Honda Grace is not working! I have already changed the remote's battery but no improvement. Plz anyone guide me.

Was it working before and of both sides or only one ??

Both were working totally fine! Someone said me to remove the battery terminal to give a reset to the car. The smart entry works only for 3 times and then again gets irresponsive. Secondly because of removing and then again putting back the battery terminal now its CD player of Gathers is asking for security code and I have to deal with it too.

And both door handles were fine this just started suddenly.

About the cd player code there must be an ERC give me that i will give you the unlock code

Try it with no electric devices nearby and remove any extra accessories
dash cam
usb
phones attahced
ipod
any accessory in cigarette port.

then reset and check

Can u guide me abit that is this ERC written on the manual or the CD player itself.

Well a code is written on the unit itself it is
FA0600125 is it the ERC?

Very strange

Maybe try checking the fuses. i cant think of anything other than that. If it was one side not working it could have been the malfunctioned door handle but both not working must be either a fuse or software of the car going haywire.

Waisay i did hear this is a worldwide problem with some honda cars

It's not working even when you swing the key in the lock? Like when you swing the key and other lock opens with it or not?

Yes it opens but not by the smart entry!

If it does it means you've a problem in the key chip.
What you should do is, clean the pcb of the key using ctc cleaner or any contact cleaner available at electronics store.. After that you might be able to use it properly. Or u can make a new remote, this will solve your problem.

You mean I should give the remote an internal clean? But remember both remotes are not allowing smart entrance!

One more thing I want you to know is that whenever I give a reset to the car by removing the battery terminal The smart entry works for 3 to 4 times and then no response!

Yar i experienced this. And i thought its fuse or bad system. But found out it was bad remote. Jese hi remote repair karwaya and uski casing change krwai and us bande ne resold kia. And then perfect hogaya alhamdulilah
