I am using soft 99, but after waxing feels that it holds durt more and need little wet cloth to clean car, shine is perfect and after several washes with shampoo nor totally loss.

You need to apply the wax correctly in order to get the best result . Soft 99 is a hard paste wax , it needs to be applied on the body in a shaded area (no direct sunlight) and the cars body should not be warm(hot) . After applying the wax let it harden for about 15 mins before buffing the body (removing the wax ) .

Dirt will stick on the body of a car if the wax is not properly removed (buffed) ,

If the wax is wet then it will not be removed easily and has a tendency to attract dirt.

If the wax is dried it will be easily removed and no residue will be left to attract dirt .

The reason is simple, It had extreme shine and lasted. Please note that I am not talking about the regular turtle wax available locally. It was platinum series that my dad bought from US. I couldnt even find it in Dubai. Maybe they discontined it.

Good info.. I'll give this Soft99 a try now.. previously I was using Turtlewax liquid wax which is also good for shine and protection of body paint.

If I had to chose anything from Turtle Wax lineup, I'd prefer the Platinum or then the Ice series. However, while they yield good results (good being subjective here) they don't hold up very long as you'd expect them to. But hey, for the price, who cares. Not that they are dirt cheap, but in comparison, yes they are cheap.

Soft 99 (Genuine) is a good wax (with polish like qualities) but being cheap, it has its own set of disadvantages. Just like a cheap deodorant body spray that will smell nice but won't last long and if your skin is super sensitive, you might get a rash also. Rest its already been discussed above that the usual Do Nots are that it should be applied in shade, body of car should not be very warm or hot etc etc. Its basic and not better engineered from chemical engineering perspective.
