Sold my bike in 2017 and its still on my name!

Assalam.O.Alaikum..

In 2015 I bought a brand new bike and registered on my name. But for some reasons I sold it in 2017 (my younger brother went to Akbar Road and sold it) Unfortunately he didn't received or may be forgot about the Sales deed or any kind of invoice from the buyer.

Now I just checked it on the vehicle verification website, its still on my name. Although it's status is clear but still I am worried that it could be involved in any illegal activity (God forbid).

I accept my negligence by not get that sale paper. Please guide me What should I do now to be on the safe side.

You can go to the same dealer and ask him if he has some record of buyer written in any register etc

If not then you may try to give ad in newspaper etc for owner to contact or else you will revoke/block the ownership and report the bike as stolen after specific period of time

go to the local excise office and give them a written application that you have sold the bike to this n this ( CNIC #) and get the file blocked.
simple
do this on priority because if God forbid the vehicle is caught involved in crime, the police will land at your place.
