hey guys is solid audio f 47 a nice amp??? can it run 308 and a xplod 1500 watt dvc sub??

You want to power 2 Subs with around 400W RMS each.

You need at least two of these:

GM-5100T (Archived) - Pioneer Europe

Pioneer 5100T 8.8K X 2

Or

Kenwood X811D for 18K

Kenwood Excelon KAC-X811D 533W x 1 mono subwoofer amplifier at Crutchfield.com

best for one 400rms woofer ...
for two get a mono kenwood 9104d would be good option and cheaper than kenwood X series ..

i really know what is bridge and how to connect sub on bridge but i really dont know this concept ( 4 ohm and 2 ohm ) if anyone explain me i'll be thankful to him

yes you know hook , 2 subs on 2 bridges
each sub will be loaded @ 4 ohms per bridge
recieveing power about 260Wrms from amp

but its not good idea
using 4ch amp to drive 2 subs

use MONO amps
2nd , rough use is buy powerfull 2 ch amp
3rd , for " guzara " ,just wana run try 4 ch

you apply less ohms to amplifer ,
amplifier will give more power

like , amp rated
400Wrms @ 4 ohms
600Wrms @ 2 ohms stable only

hidden truth ( 1 ohms unstable )

using sub at 4 ohms , your amp will hit 400Wrms ,
using sub at 2 ohms , your amp will hit 600Wrms
using sub @ 1 ohms , your amp will trip , power protection mode will on , amp may restart during ON

hmm well i can run the subs at 2 ohms i guess then it would give more output wouldent the subs bang?? emm i run 2 pioneer 307 on sony xplod 1200 watt xmgtr2002 ...i run em on almst 3/4 gain and they beat like hell so much power for two it seems the coils are goin to blow cuz i smell the weird smeel of wire burnin.. so if sony 1200 is good isnt solid audio that good??

turn down the gain immediately

there are may reson by which your sub coils can blow out

1: Over Power
2: Clipping ( if woofer does out of its mechanical limits) over excursion
3: Box tunning ( if your box is not tune to play that frequency , there are Fb , f3 main parameter for the box )

hmm yea man i turnd dwn the gain to 3/4 it was full b4 lolz emm nah actually it strts smelin when i play songs like bass i love you or i put on
on the rest of the songs they are ok so i dnt play such songs nemre... i play songs like elevator,bottle pop ..grillx ...etc all these hv alot ov bass =D

yes, these song have extra low notes , which can boil your subs coil very quickly
which will start to smell, after some long duration , it will blow

have you got subsonic filter on your amplifier ?

Let me tell you the truth

Solid Audio is famous by its name ,

only its Mono block are good
but the 4channel have only massive body , weak in power
this is why i dont like solid Audio 4 channel
More over
Cutting Edge is next copy of Solid Audio , difference , the board is expand and casing is changes
Presence Amplfieir , is just ok
which is not powerfull as f-47, CE-47

there is an amplifeir which is in SALE , MA - Audio
the body is small , grill on the top , power is more then both F47 , CE 47
it doesnt means expensive stuff are always better

brand new CE - 47 16K , big time fake
260Wrms @ 4 ohms , X 2 for 16k doesnt make any sense

MA - Audio Hk598 is better then both of these amps i have heard in personal
its on sale , Smartboy selling it
