ASA..This is one daring trip i must say..well done sir..there is one question though!! traveling to such far off beautiful places alone for quite a long time, ap ko aisa nai lga k dost shost company sath hoti to zada enjoy hota..kind of lonely sometimes..seeing tourists coming in groups?? some ppl tend to enjoy alone but some dont..

Yes dost hotay tou enjoy ziada hota, I must say.

I must tell, that after 10 days, i felt home sickness. Things not looking beautiful as they were.

I am not a solitude lover. But due to certain circumstances I have to go alone.

Waisay groups k apnay drawbacks hotay hain. koi kahta ha gari rouko, koi kahta ha k na roko. yehi manzar pichlay stop par tha...

Waisay my observation, Akaila banda locals k sath ziada ghul mil sakta ha. A lot of times people helped me a lot.

E.g When I reached Yaseen, the NATCO driver asked a local to help/guide me in finding hotel.

Same is the case at Skardu. NATCO Staff helped me a lot and they gone with me in at least 3 hotels for search of room for me.

But alone in the area of Kohistan e.g. Babusar-chilas is really a challenge. At 3 times boys tried to stop me, but with the help of Allah, i was safe.

Where you see a roof (Chatt), tent ma rahnay ko dil nahi karta..

I have given my views about the difficulty/dangerous of trek. Might be other people have some other views. I have also confirmed from Raikot Bridge that a lot of people do Touba after the FM trek.

Please give me some independence of views...

Rana Sb, if you dont like sleeping in tent then you are not a complete toursit yet Camping has its own charm.

Re trek to FM, I did this twice and once I completed from Raikot bridge. I must say trekking from the bridge to Tatu is killing. However, from tatu to FM is not dangerous but indeed tiring. I dont know how people say that they completed this lag in 2-3 hours... I did in 5 hours.

Very well said and indeed a daring attempt by "Sher Dil". Once you are out working and have your own family, probability of getting leaves at the same time by friends is less than 10%. I am also facing the same issue and seriously considering solo trips. Further, I cant be out from June to Sep owing to annual audit and this is the peak season.
