Dry Mountains:-
Around the Area of Chilas and Gilgit, people consider that it is very dry... and dry mountains are nothing to see.
The mountains bordering Indus and KKH are dry but far mountains are green and contains pine forest even on KKH. and also Snow capped glaciated peaks watch all the KKH and gives a great refreshing look. Even hot cities like Chilas and Gilgit also render some snow in the backdrop of the whole panorama.
Qul (Main made mountainous stream from a glacier water) fed greenery, (Crops, Poplar trees and fruits) adds a lot to the whole scene.
When you enter a green area (a village or city), cool breeze welcomes you.
If you go near to river/nala, fresh cold breeze welcomes you... Just get yourself on the bank of any river/nala...
