Solo Trip - 18 Days - From Karachi to Northern Areas

Salaam,

I have 18 days vacations which I am thinking to avail after Baqra Eid, expected to End of August, 2018.

I've already visit to Swat and Naran side.

So, thinking to visit Gilgit/Hunza/Khaploo etc side. I am alone, so some worried for expense too.
There is no much expense for busses/Train fares but the Hotels and Jeeps fares are something worry.

Joining a Tour Company is a good thing, but usually tour operator design tour for just 10-12 days.

Kindly advice the day wise SCHEDULE for the trip, also if possible then expense too.

Brother, best option would be to go on bike. All road are accessible and more importantly you have a plenty of time as said. You can explore by your own freely. For night stay, camping would be the best option to minimize the expenditures. Karachi to Pindi by train and then start your journey from there.

its better to join a group tour for 10-12 days
but i am sure somewhere there is a tour designed for more than 2 weeks as well and they involve trekking

better to go with tour groups if you are alone for 10-12 days. On the way back you will get some time to rest yourself as well.

Brother, rush to the bhi hoga as people are traveling quite often.
I got leaves now, baad mein probably not possible.

Plan koi nahi hai, bas Karachi se bahir Jana hai, kahin bhi
Waise irada Naltar valley, Hunza and fairy Meadows ka hai.

Irada karo, mood hai to plan karte hain

so August main hi possible lagta hai.... main leaves minimum 15-20 days ki loon ga

Brother do go on the trip by yourself. Tour operators try to save money and for that they try to spend as much time in road as they can especially at night so they do not have to keep you in a hotel.

Best is to find a friend or two to accompany you. This will keep you company and cut the cost per person.

For solo I suggest you go to abbottabad - Naran- chilas - Gilgit - Hunza - Khunjerab Pass - Skardu. To cut the cost do not stay in Naran stay in a place a little after Naran called Batakundi. And do not stay in Karimabad Hunza instead stay in Aliabad. This will save you some money.

Since you have your own car you can stop at any spot you like and enjoy the scenery.

Tip for travel: try to start your day at 5:30am - 6:00am you should be on the road and should be in your hotel by Maghrib time. DO NOT travel at night in hilly areas

Well, in 18 days u can discover most of the northern areas like chitral, shandur, gilgit, hunza, khunjerab, naltar, skardu, astore.

I have car, but, i want to travel by public transport only....
car ka engine thora week hai Rastay main kaheee ruk gai ... to bus...

U r right.... for tour operators, same thinking to mine.... kay woh time waste bohat kartay hain... jo jaga dekhni ho..udhar nahe rokain gay....

for Companion or Saathi,,, issi kay liay to add dia hai... kay koi ja raha ho to merge ho jaon ya koi meray sath ho jai... 1 say bhalay do...
meray sath kay log itna ghoomnay phirnay walay nahe..... basic thing is expense...
