Hello. Anyone knows how to open the shifter console to access the light bulb?
The light in the shifter is not working and im trying to get to the bulb.

Need help removing this panel

If i remember i have done with my other car where i have replaced dashboard (ac/heater dials) lights with led lights. Usually the small lights are T5 sized and the large ones are T10.

I have few kept with me, those are led lights. I will find them and share the photos. If interested you can pick them from me.

Btw, I'll not charge for them

Fixed those lights just now for the a/c panel.
Got bulbs from the market then rest was all "jugaar" fitting those larger sized bulbs into those plastic holders!

Now just need help with the shift light.

The bulb you have showed earlier are from shift lights or panel lights?

Panel lights. Long ones light up the a/c, circulation buttons at bottom, while short ones for the rotary dials on right side.
One of each bulb was busted.

Now need to know how to open up the shifter panel to access the bulb underneath that lights up the R N Ds.

Found only one size. Had to be creative with what i could find. Worked in the end.

Any help regarding the shifter bulb please? Anyone?

You got regular size tube.
You should ask any car parts shop.
Can't say anything without inspecting....but
By guessing from pick...it's maybe on clip or first the shifter will be open then the silver plastic plate.

I dont think shifter will come out. The outer gray area probably comes out but i tried with force as well and it doesnt seem to be locked with clips.

Couldn't find any guide on YouTube either. There is a video showing how to open it but its the American model and it has different panel.

It doesn't clipped but there are 4 screws. Firstly remove gear knob( A screw at front side) Then you need to dismantle complete console. There are screws or clips at front on both sides and same at back side where back ashtray placed.

ok so i managed to access the shifter bulb and change it.

Turns out we have to remove the whole console altogether instead of just the shifter console.

The shifter console is screwed to the whole center console as pointed out by @punjabianz

However, shifter knob wasnt required to be removed.

There are total 6 screws that need to be unscrewed.

2 on each side at front.

2 in the middle

and 2 at the rear botton side behind the handbrake (forgot to take the picture).

Finally have the shifter lit!

consider the problem SOLVED.
