I recently bought a 2007 Cultus VXR. It's done 67000 kilometers, and is in relatively good condition (I made sure to have someone experienced analyse the condition of the car before purchasing it).
This is the first car I've owned, and as such I'm not very well-versed in terms of car maintenance. I've had the car for a few months now, and I've only faced any major hiccups twice; the first instance involved dirty spark plugs, and the second instance allegedly involves the carburettor butterfly valve (which I'll get fixed as soon as possible). So far, my usage has not been very extensive, as I've been primarly driving within Rawalpindi. However, I soon plan to regularly use this to commute to my university (around 50 kilometers daily), and I therefore want to ensure that everything is in top conditon.
Which components do you think I should have checked? Which fluids should I have checked? Are there any paticular types (brands) of fluids I should purchase? I'm already planning to flush out the radiator and add new coolant (I'm not sure which one, though). Does the Cultus have any signifcant problems that I should be aware of?
