Does it get Pirelli RFT's? They come in handy at times, but they're seriously hard. I've driven my friends 760iL for about 50 miles in city, and while the suspension compensates for the hard tire compound, they're unacceptable. I think it may just be a bridgestone thing. I've heard Pirelli's are better.

Well RFTs are generally very hard tires and I've known people in the US who changed to non RFTs as it improves the quality of ride and the cornering ability of the car. It makes sense there since they rarely get flats and most of em lower their car. Lowering my car isn't feasible because of the bumps and speed bumps here.

Yea it's pretty fast in it's class. When I turn the Traction off, it goes CRAZY...tires spin alot even after i changed from 225 to 245 in the front and 275s in the rear.

Hi bro , Just quick and honest comment , i think 5 series is just ok , but i really admire your ride because it is ONE UNIQUE piece of machine , specially under the hood! 550i , a very rare model in pak , what are the accessories ? what is the price you paid ? whats the model and is the engine V8 , i just want to compare with a 745iL 2003 , cause 745 has a approx 4500 CC V8 ....

Yeah I know a guy who got the RFT's off his 335i sedan and got all-seasons and it drove much better. I went pretty crazy on a 335i Coupe in some mountian roads, and on a lot of the corners you feel the RFT's. Again, the suspension compensates and the car still hangs on (I got carsick for the first time in my life because of all that GRIP!) to the road perfectly.

2008 BMW 550i Silver Metallic w/Sport Automatic Transmission, Ventilated Comfort Seats in Beige Nasca Leather, Light Popular Trim, NAV, HUD, Active Steering, Night Vision, Active Cruise Control, Logic 7, Blue tooth Hands Free, Dynamic Stability, Soft Close, Auto Folding Mirrors.

Yes it's a 4.8l V8. I prefer the 5 over the 7 since it's smaller and probably more fun to drive. 7 is just too big. The cost was around 12million Rs.
