Some problems with honda city idsi

Hello all

The car in question is honda city 2007
Its stock petrol and mileage is in 60s

The problem im facing is that I got the front suspension repiared
Kenchi bushes changes and rest was pressed
Got the rack repaired too its bush and all
But since the steering is hard as hell
I mean it doesnt return back at all
It just stays in the same direction
Habe driven almost for a month now but its still the same
No error codes as well
So what maybe the issue?
Experts help needed

Also somethimes car gets heavy all of a sudden
I mean it steers heavy
Pick gets sluggish
Etc

Plss guide me what to do and to get checked

Yes it goes back to normal itself and gets heavy by itself
But it doesnt happen usually
Kabhi kabhi ho jata hai

About the steering should I get it opened and checked again?
The steering wala said it will be soft after driving sometime but its almost been a month since I got it repaired
Could there be any problem with the motor? Or sensor?

One more thing I would like to ask that I am using honda 10w40
But I want to go fully synthetic
So should I change to shell 5w 30 ultra?
Should I flush the engine?
Mechanic said engine will make noise if u go for thinner oil
I just want to give it aa try
If its will go good I will keep using fully synthetic oil

What do u suggest?

steering motor or sensor issue should lit up a light in dash
the bush or sleeve etc they installed in the steering rack is not right i guess

i heard that kabli steering for idsi is 20,000 plus. not sure though. i also got front suspension done but my steering was perfect.
your car is just 60,000 driven?yes you can swithc to 5w without tension and without flushing.
i used 5W oil till 140,000km's.now switched to 10w

your steering rack guide is tightened using tukka procedure by mechanic.honda city steering rack only need steering rack guide aka gutka to be changed as now it is damaged bcz u run more then a month nothing to be pressed. since they install after market guide and donot tight it according to manual so u have hard steering.

get underneath car and loosen a lit bit. check again ur steering moovement if its harder loosing 1 churi again , donot loose to much otherwise u listen ghar ghar sound on bumps

buy genuine rack guide cost 2600rs from nasir autos plaza and steering rack grease and tightan it with tourque wrench( use service manual bcz u have to tight according to specific torque the loosen nut fully and retightened it on lower tourque.
this procedure need duct togo underneath car

Yes I got this part changed and it seems like it was my biggest mistake
It only needed to betightened up coz rest of the suspension was in very good nick
So should I go for replacement with genuine part or should I just loosen the setting from the rack?
I want a long term and safe solution as u know city rack is very expensive

Even my suspension was perfect it only needed to be tightened up even the steering
But the guy replaced it and since then I have the problem
I should just have just got it adjusted coz now the part he has put is not like the oem one

And where do I get the service manual from?

my idsi on AC - on mode jerk a bit on first gear then moves smoothly .. it occurs when drive on rush road or in traffic jam scenario, what could be possible reason for this jerky movement?

Is it on cng?
Get it tuned properly it might be ok after that

seems like AC compressor is putting extra load when engaged and not getting enough air to cool down

Please tell if I should loosen the steering or should I replace the rack guide?? What will be safer for my steering box? And ps motor?

Also I want to change tires and rims
Currently its on 13 alloys with 185/80/13
What will be impact on fuel consumption if I go for 14 or 15 inches?

tight a little bit saay 5degree make a 0degree mark with pen or paint on nut. duct means garha jis ka upper gari la ka assani say kaam kareen jo aligment walon kay pass hota hey 3 ya 4 stairs uter kar gari ka neechay kaam kartey hein. if u donot use duck u have to open steericg rack fully. 5 min job turns into 4-5 hrs job

rotate 20 degree anti clock wise reemember inner nut should be loosen outer should tight. sending procedure manual tommorrow

It was simple white plastic
Will it harm the rack?

genuine is of silver metal so again after some days u hear gurr gurr sound replace with genuine one

didn't get what does it mean, but it happens very often
