Oh cool,
The song, by Frank Sinatra, I think, comes to mind "Its beginning to look alot like White Christmas...
:),
Abit late, but not bad......
On the ground it does look like Snow, and on cars, it is also sticking to the roof and car body, just like snow sticks to all the surface area wherever it falls.
The hail on the otherhand does not Stick to the surface, and it accumulates in one spot.
So, it is a mixture of Snow with Freezing rain. Those frozen rain drops are confusing some people with Hail. But Hail is different, this is definately Snow and Frozen rain, mixture. We get it here in Michigan, sometimes too.
Its safer to drive in this mixture snow than thin pure powderlike snow.
So, Congratulations, Islamabadis for a nice and beautiful, vacation area like Snow. It does not look too messy, but be careful, while driving. Its good that you guys had a rain with it too, otherwise, when snow compacts on the roads it becomes ICE... that is deadly, the cars loose road grip instantly, NO brakes..... and steering, if you loose control, the only way you stop is after you hit some other car or other obstacle. So, in this case, its not that dangerous, but still be Careful, while driving, keep more distance, just in case the tires slip, and always look out for other driver's mistakes, or loss of control, as they are also not experienced in driving in such conditions.
Peace...
Be Safe.
