It's more of a pre-wax cleaner. It cleans the paint, removes minor swirls, and clears previous built-up of wax layers etc on the paint. So it means that you also have to apply wax or paint sealant after it and should not leave the paint like this. But you may not use it every time you wax your car, but only when you need to clean the paint.
