But one can buy a high end model of E series aswell which will cost around 85,000 and will include

500GB HDD
512 MB Graphic Card etc.

Similarly there the 'S' series is for looks and style but over all its a very good deal.
It starts from 127,000 here in Pakistan and includes

4GB RAM
640GB HDD
USB 3.0
1080P Display
512MB ATI Radeon Graphics
HD Webcam etc

Similarly C series and Z series have their own qualities.

Now it all depends upon your budget.

Better to visit Sony World in your city. They are the genuine source instead of buying laptop from gray market. In gray market you will get only one year warranty by shop keeper not from company or so called International warranty jo na hoonay kay barabar hai. And another factor is you are not sure about the product what you are buying is new and not been modify like shopkeepers change the ram from 4GB to 2GB. Most of the people buy the product abroad use for some days and sell in Pakistan upon their visit are in gray markets.

At Sony World...... You are sure that your are buying genuine new product without any modification. Its been manufactured in 2/3 months back. You get 3 years full warranty ........ yeah its 3 year warranty for full product. Price is same as gray market.

If you are in Lahore then PM me i will find some good deal. I have done a lot of research on this subject ..... If u want to use this product in Pakistan than its better to buy from Pakistan. And there is no big price difference in Pakistan, US or Dubai prices.

Gosh! Thank you so much Rizwan400. Such a detailed reply. Actually Sony Centre in F-10 Islamabad is where I shop from. Most of them know and respect me a lot but I still wanted to double check because they had E 26 as the last whereas E 27 has been released already but they knew not.

The good news for you and Aeromix is that an E series laptop has been purchased. Prices from different dealers including Sony varied from Rs. 83-85000. The F-10 Centre gave it to me for Rs. 80000.

I had a budget of 80,000 and the only viable option was Sony EH series with Core i5, 500GB HDD etc.

Instead i asked my taya to bring vaio S series from NY which is costing 84,000 PKR and here it costs 127,000. I know i would not be getting the 3 year local warranty but still dil to bacha hai jee.

SB and SE out at same time last year July / August 11.

SB = 13.3"
SE = 15.5"

There is no show sha case actually i want laptop must be handy and easy to carry with good battery time so i always prefer to have laptop 13.3" or max 14"

Size is probably the only thing whicg dictates handy. And yes, smaller screen - lesser energy consumption (along with other factors of course)

My 13.3 hp i5 gives me 7.5-8 hours easy with normal usage. Exactly similar specced 15 incher gives around 4 hours.

buy a 18inch laptop and see how portable it is....and also, generally bigger screen requires more power, due to more consumption by screen, processor and gpu. so the battery size required to get same battery life as in a smaller laptop will not be directly proportional to screen size. so it will also be more heavier than it should be. In short, 14 inch is very good for moving here there. bigger than that will be okay only at one place. If u gona do that, why not simply get a desktop.
