Sound dampening value for money or not?

AoA everyone

I wanted to know if anyone had any recent experience of installing sound dampening sheets in cultus or any other car low end car?
Does it really help in reducing cabin noise?
Is it value for money?
I have read alot of recommendations of Sound Valley Rwp but i have found it a bit expensive for this specific work

What else can be done to get rid of 'door plastic' noise??
Any leads?
Need your expert opinion

The doors are empty between there sheets. Instead of getting sound dampening there was a thread, please find it which suggests placing foam (I am not able to recall the name properly) in all the doors properly that would get the job done.

Look for any unnoticeable holes in your car as well. That may also be the culprit alongside the doors.

Its definitely worth it, but you'll have to go about it very smartly. Most shops will just plaster the sheets all over your car which will result in higher cost and add a lot of weight to your car.

I've done sound damping on multiple cars of mine, but have done it all myself.

Sound dampening can be done to reduce outside noise from entering the car aswell as stopping the metal sheet and cut out door frames from rattling when music is played in the vehicle (typically by a subwoofer).
Even chinese dampening work good enough to get both the above mentioned jobs done
I have stinger expert installed in 2 cars and some chinese brand in an another car..the chinese brand is a little bit less effective in blocking the outside noise but works fine in preventing the doors from rattling.
Search online as to how you can save the sheets spent on deadning the metal sheet of car.
The cut out frame behind the door plastic card typically needs to be fully sealed off with dampening material.
Foam sheets with cut out for wires and door lock levers will be less effective in blocking outside noise and almost ineffective in preventing the metal from rattling.

Which parts of car most likely require dampening sheets.

In my personal experience:

1) trunk floor
2) doors
3) around wheel arches
4) trunk walls and lid

The cabin floor is also very important but in order to do that you have to remove the entire carpet, so I haven't bothered. If you insulate the wheel arches well enough then they will stop a lot of the road noise, and you won't realise that you haven't done the cabin floor.

I did sound proofing of my car all by myself. Its not difficult if you have free weekends and patience. I used ground zero sheets for front doors and Chinese sheets for rear doors and hood.

Instead of using adhesive-based sound-dampening sheets, you can use a thin sheet of polyester between the plastic door panels. I've seen this approach used by Audi—it's lightweight and effective.
