Sound from Mehran Brake for few seconds

Yesterday night *18th July, 2012) I was driving toward Cinepax Rawalpindi in heavy rain. On overhead brigde just before Ammar Chowk I was on right most lane. When I pressed brake, an annoying sound came from right front tire and car slipped toward left side. I managed to move it to left most lane safely. After that I checked brake by speeding up car and applying brake. It was fine. But I don't know what was that sound and why car slipped toward left side. Thanks GOD that there was no vehicle around.

Should I go to mechanic and tell him the situation so that he check brake condition?

may be the tyre locked resulted skidding of one side ..
get ur car alignment checked .. and dont apply emergency type brake in rain ..

you need to learn defensive driving skills.......If the squeaking sound (Not sure if brake light is there in Mehran) coming occasionally and the brake fluid approaching MIN, DON'T fill it back to MAX, then pads are due for replacement.

I checked brake oil. It is in normal quantity. Above MIN and below MAX. After that brake today I drove car to office. No brake issue i faced so far. I will go for wheel alignment on this Sunday.
