An anti-roll bar (anti-sway bar, sway bar, stabilizer bar) is a part of many automobile suspensions that helps reduce the body roll of a vehicle during fast cornering or over road irregularities. It connects opposite (left/right) wheels together through short lever arms linked by a torsion spring. A sway bar increases the suspension's roll stiffness—its resistance to roll in turns, independent of its spring rate in the vertical direction. The first stabilizer bar patent was awarded to Canadian inventor Stephen Coleman of Fredericton, New Brunswick on April 22, 1919.

I am also looking for susch for my 8th gen ...the size of rotors and calipers you got ...will it work with orignal oriel rims or will recquire bugger rims?and what was the cost of the work?

My apologies I should have mentioned in my reply. This is after installation. I was surprised to learn that the larger rotors and calipers fit very snug in the original 15 inch wheels.

Yes I'm using liquimoly synthetic 0 50 and I'm loving it. I've been running liquimoly for the last 60k km and my car has a total of 64k km on the clock. She runs smoothly as silk. I'd recommend it any day of the week.

yes, I also feel the improvement in my brakes by 100% and this is no exaggeration.
Brakes have improved and now I am confident and enjoy driving my 9th gen civic.

As I couldn't wait.
I thought of changing the sway bar my self.
So I started around 5:30 when I reached home after office.
I jacked up the car but eventually had to open the wheel as well.

The above picture shows stock OEM and after market Japanese sway bar.

The OEM sway bar is connected/bolted/linked with the car's chasis and suspension from four different places.

Two are End links (Z-Links)
to open these you will need 3/16" L-Key and 14mm Ratchet or spanner.
It was little difficult than I expected. because the link and the bar both were flexible and I couldn't apply the force. but eventually I put the L-Key with the upper control arm and then applied force on the spanner to open it.

Below picture describes the opening step of end link
