The incident goes like this....
several of my friends knew that I wanted to change my car's rims to 10th Gen Alloys.
and finally when I found a clean set. I got them changed (Will share pictures after this story)
After the rims were replaced at a shop in Islamabad, I came home.
It is my habit that I personally check every single LUG NUT that is tightened by these workers in the shops.
and this time, I had to check all 20 LUG NUTs.
so, when I checked them, one of them was found lose.
Upon tightening of that, I found out that it was semi-free
When I say semi-free, I mean that it was not totally free but I got the feeling that if I further tighten it, it will definitely get free.
so I didn't do any thing.
I was more worried about Stud, because changing of Stud is a tricky job. Last time when I changed Stud,
I had to replace the bearing too after few days. because during stud change, they use hammer to take out old stud and put new stud.
Any way, I went to a known Mechanical Works shop (Kharadia)
He told me that some one has extra tightened the NUTs. They were double forced tight.
There we retreaded the partially damaged threads on couple of studs (front right wheel) and retreaded several Lug Nuts
I wanted to change the Lug Nuts but near that Kharadia shop, I couldn't find any shop.
so we put back the wheels and It was job done. But I was not comfortable so I planned to replace the repaired Lug Nuts on my first priority.
