Then I had to open steering wheel because I want to shift paddle shifters and buttons to leather steering wheel

You will need a 10mm L key and a lot of power to open the steering wheel bolt( for first time only)

Now the connection part of new cluster meter and new multimedia buttons.i will make a neat diagram but for now, let it me share the idea and connections

You need only two new connections
.
1. Giving +12v to new bottoms
2. Connecting new buttons to new led cluster (communication)

Pin#12 of steering multimedia is to connect to cluster meter pin number 23
.
Pin#7 of steering multimedia is to connect to car's ignition (use a small fuse)

Wiring goes through clock spring.
I didn't cut any wire
I didn't put any joint in the steering wheel.
Took out wires from the spare connectors that I got with the buttons.

Well what I said in my last post is easier said than done.
Just to avoid joint, it got me at least 3 to 4 hours long.

To take out pin from existing harnesses.
I didn't have any small straight screw driver.
Small enough to lift the lock of pin from the connector.

So I took a hair pin and by using grinder I made it small enough so I could put it in the connector to lift the lock of the pin

How to reprogram the cluster ?

Had to make it small enough to meet my requirement

I couldn't take pictures during I was making the connection as I was trying to focus on the connections.
And double checking etc.

I hasn't been completed yet
I will continue it today as I couldn't find a small fuse (preferably 1amp but not more than 5amp)

I will go to F-10 to get this fuse and will share the final pictures of new steering wheel and cluster

I am not satisfied with the leather steering in terms of its condition
.
After all it's a used one.
But I intend to do a DIY to restore it to look like brand new.
So I installed
