Here is a quick tip.
It's better and recommended to wrap teflon tape on screw that are meant to tightened in plastic material.

I didn't want to point it out and make your "dil kharab" so soon, but considering the rest of your car is immaculate MA, the steering didn't look the part, but I am sure it can be stitched to perfection, I also changed the steering in my car and the initial condition was pathetic.
