Spark plug gap for carb cultus

What is the recommended spark plug gap for carb cultus. i have two manuals of SF310 and one recommends 0.7 - 0.8 mm and other recommends 1.0 - 1.1 mm.

Also on geo metro forums recommended is 1.1 mm for G-10 engine, while on some suzuki forums 0.8 mm is recommended. What do you guys use. accordingly which ngk plug should i get, regular or -11.

Also where to buy plugs, i cant find either bpr6es or bpr6ey or bpr6egp. the available is either bp6es or bkr series?

dear the spark plug gap depends upon the spark plug itself. both DENSO and NGK sparks plugs are standard for Suzuki engines.

for example for DENSO is you use plug having U11 then gap should be 1.1 mm, otherwise its 0.8 MM.

if manual suggest bpr6es then you can use plugs having heat range value as 6.

i guess BKR 6 EGP will do fine, purchase brand new from reputed parts shop and do not adjust the GAP as it is pre gapped from factory, make sure that you donot drop it on hard surface to alter the gap.

my query is that gap should be 0.8 or 1.1? two different SF310 manuals suggest these two different gaps (same engine). Brand is irrelevant for gap.

brand is NOT irrelevant for GAP.

i guess BKR 6 EGP will do fine, purchase brand new from reputed parts shop and do not adjust the GAP as it is pre gapped from factory, make sure that you donot drop it on hard surface to alter the gap its default gap should be 1.1mm

SF-310 came with two fuel delivery system's also both had different ignition system...
Carburetor and Throttle body fuel injection though engine in both was same G10a.
For the carbureted version the recommended spark plug gap is 0.7-0.8mm for TBI it's 1.0-1.1mm.

currently i have BPR6EGP for the last couple of years dont know if they are 0.8 or 1.1 will have to take them out

both are G10b variant, G10a carb variant is not mentioned. i guess its obsolete now.

default gap should be 1.1mm

not sure, but i think paksuzuki recommends 0.8mm. need confirmation on this
