Spark Plugs Cleaning

Dear all AoA, i want to know how often the copper and platinum spark plugs should be cleaned for optimal performance; and is there any chemicals like carb cleaner to be used for cleaning purpose.

Yes u can clean copper plugs but platinum and iridium plugs can only be cleaned with carb cleaner and soft brush.....bdw cleaning plugs was very old practice during leaded fuel era now only replace copper ones at 10 to 12k kms .....platinums at 35 to 40 k kms and iridium at 100k kms......no need to clean if there are no oily deposits
