Spectra not going over 30 KPH after 10 minutes on Petrol

I have a Kia Spectra 2005 model. It has been a great car so far. Yesterday is suddenly ran in to a problem. I am driving at Petrol as CNG was not available in Islamabad. While driving car suddenly starts missing and speed drops from 80 to about 30-40 KPH. I pull-over and shut-off the engine. When I start again, the car drives perfectly for 5-10 minutes and then starts the missing again. Speed again drops to 30 and does not accelerate at all.

I got CNG from Rawalpindi and the car is working perfectly on CNG. No issues whatsoever.

Please advice me what can be the problem with the car. Also suggest where to get it fixed.

Where should I get it changed? Plus how to know which one is faulty?

Both are available at Imran Autos, in Sadar RWP.
And not a big science, any decent mechanic can change them. I have changed both things on my car myself.
Is there any check engine light??
Might be a tps or idle sensor.
But if no check engine light, most probably busted fuel filter or fuel pump.

There is no check-engine light. Imran Autos is in Babu Muhalla?

There is one inside the azhar shaheed market and one opposite the market.
Both named Imran Autos.
If you have seen a white spectra in bahria town, its mine.

What should I check for?
Will it drive OK without Fuel Cap?

Just check.if this trick works then it means that ur fuel tank is getting air locked.need to clean breather.
Just open the cap.pressure releasing from tank like "whooosh" are a sure sign of blocked breather.

I started the car on Petrol and opened the Fuel tank cap. There was a sound of air escaping... The whoosh sound you mentioned. It shows that your analysis is correct. Now tell me what do I tell the mechaic to do. Do they also call it the breather or something else?

clean the fuel tank and its breather.
keep at least 10L of petrol in the tank...
