SPEEDOMETER faulty ready.. need help and advice

Dear Fellow members

I am facing some speedometer issue on my 1996 Prado with 1kz engine bought like 3 weeks back , i have noticed that if the needle is showing that i am driving at 60km/h but infact it actually feels alot more..

i have changed the speedometer and replaced but still getting the same problem.

current tires installed are YOKOMAMA GEOLANDER A/T-S 275/70R16 114 H
recommend tires size on website is 265/70R16

i have installed a speedometer application on my mobile and have found the following reading

when the needle is at 40km the application is showing around 55 to 60 kms
when the needle is at 75 km the application is showing 120 kms

i am based in islamabad, if any one has any piece of advice suggestion and help i would highly appreciate it

Changed speedometer doesnt work!
Try changing the wire also (coming from gear to all way up to speedometer).

yes the changed ( kabli also showing the same reading..)

some how the speedometer is showing my speed in Miles but the speedometer is in KM/H...

is there a possibility that the wire coming from gear to the speedometer is calibrated to miles/hrs

the speed sensor installed near the gear is tuned to miles per hour ????

awaiting suggestion and opinion

Yes. Thats why change the wiring + that sensor.
