One more important discovery that I made in Konya was the Mizar of Shams Tabrizi. The famous philospher and teacher of Mevalana. It is believed that he was killed by some relatives/students of Mevalana because of their jealousy towards him.

It is an irony that I was in Tabriz, Iran his hometown in Dec and now I had the chance to visit his grave.

Now the pics of one of the most beautiful mosque I have seen in Turkey uptil now. Serfuddin Mosque from the 17th Century. I have not seen the famous Sultanahmet mosque in Istanbul uptil now but I will go there probably on this weekend.

This is also a very beautiful masterpiece of Ottomon Architecture.
