Price is too high, the tag of 13.5 Lacs cannot be justified from any angle. You people know why people go after XLI because previously it had a price tag of 8.50 Lacs which is now 8.80 lacs and still sells like Hot Cake, even Gli sells very good for 9.60 lacs, people pay own of 60-70k on XLI/GLI, why is that? Because the prices are realistic for a small size sedan in Pakistan.
Now a Fact: For the last year or 2 how many Civic EXIs priced at 10.0 Lacs were sold compared to the 8.50/8.80 Lac rupee Corolla, people dont mind handle (manual) windows, they dont want to buy a expensive car, higher middle class can afford to a certain extent in Pakistan.
By Introducing the New City Like Civic at 13.50 Lacs, these Honda people will be in big trouble, and for the OWN thing , it will disappear in a month or 2, thats a guarantee, If they dont cut the price, the car wont sell, thats a guarantee too.
Now take a example, suppose I have 15 Lacs with me and I am looking for a New car, I personally will definately buy the Lancer @ 8.40 LAcs or the Corolla XLI @ 8.80 Lacs, and will save rest of the money, why spent all 15 Lacs when the purpose can be fulfilled in 8 or 9 Lacs, I personally dont like City so I wont go for it even if its for 7.5 Lacs.
Conclusion is that this car the ew Civic priced at 13.5 and 15.0 Lacs is for shouqeen enthusiasts only, Honda has cut down a huge number of Normal buyers for Sure !
