Salam everyone, I will begin by appreciating all of you and how helpful you guys are on this forum.
I am a complete amateur and my current set up was done immaturely and is nowhere near to what I want it to sound like.
I have a 2011 honda city and I'm the first owner.
My current setup is as following
- JBL 609C in the front doors
- ALPINE R-S65C.2 rear doors
- Pioneer TS-A6970F behind the seats on a custom board
- Pioneer GM-A6704 4ch amp ( I don't know how but it runs all 6 speakers)
- Pioneer DEH-S5100BT head unit
- Pioneer TS-WX130DA under seat sub
- 95% Dampening in all 4 doors, roof, trunk, and floor. (Ground zero sheets)
This is all running on the stock battery.
Now, I would like to ask about the improvements i want to do.
I think I'm finally ready for proper 12inch subwoofers in the trunk, probably with a closed box.
The problem is that I don't really know what subwoofer to get. I talked to Sherry at sound valley RWP and he recommended two pioneer A series subs and a mono amp by pioneer. I thought mono amps were for a single sub? I'm probably wrong so please correct me on this.
I would like recommendations on if I should do two subs or one sub, what amplifier should i get, maybe a 4ch pioneer if i get one pioneer sub and use the remaining 2ch for the comps in front which are linked to the other amp which is 4ch but running 6 speakers. Do i need to add another battery in the trunk, if yes then which one and where will i get the complete kit?
I would also like recommendations for someplace i could get closed cell foam sheets that i could add on top of the dampening sheets.
please only recommend stuff I'll easily be able to get in Islamabad/rwp and preferably at soundvalley.
Any other recommendations are more than welcome as I'm a complete beginner and barely know anything about this stuff.
