Squeaky sounds from clutch

Whenever clutch pedal of my honda city 2012 is de pressed there comes mechanical squeaky sound something like a dry plunger scratching.
I tried number of remedies, removing the boot of slave cylinder and oiling greasing it but it does not last long till sound starts again
Please suggest some permanent solution to this problem.

When was the last time you did clutch overhaul? Have you driven the car in while raining or the car diped in water...?

I have not had it overhauled. Car's olny 35k driven. Clutch is working fine no slippage or loss of intial torque experienced so far.

The squeeky sound must be of the Clutch Release Bearing.

I ve once got it checked by honda 3s they said its the slave cylinder linkage which causes such sounds and its common in current city models.

Should i get its bearing checked ?

Yes once i had to cross a puddle of water which submerged the bottom of radiator fan which sprayed mud on whole engine bay. But that was almost a year ago.

Yes then probably ur clutch release besring may be faulty. For that, the whole gear box would be separated from the engine coz there is now way to see that. So make sure you replace your clutch plate and pressure plate as well. Because you shouldnt open it again after a few months.

I just saw some videos of clutch release bearing noise mine case seems different. Its not a continuous sound. Its sort of of a mechanical screaching sound and vibration in the pedal. While on idle and clutch depressed it does not make any noise.

I had same issue with my 2008 city i add some oil the voice gone...i went to the mechanic they some we will open gear then check pressure plate clutch plate estimated about 30000rs.. I added some oil where the noise were coming. Its smooth now. Dnt trust mechanics

You're right bro i sprayed philips degreaser in slave cylinder after removing its boot cover, alot of gunk n grime flowed out n now for the time being sound has also gone

Faced the samething in civic. Sound was from clutch peddle. Mechanic greased it nd voils its gone
