Apparently tivoli will only be going against brv in its class. If brv is supposedly priced around 2.0m, tivoli should be around 1.6 or 1.7. If that's the case at least I will be going for tivoli. But as you said ssangyong's brand name might be a problem. In fact future certainty is bigger concern for many people

Expecting brv to start from 2.0m. If tivoli is priced the same way it's priced in other markets than expect it to be around 1.6 or 1.7. But then if vitara can cost 3.7, you can expect anything from ssangyong

Seriously I am not getting their logic for charging such a high price.They didn't learn from the pricing strategy of Kizashi. My one of younger school going cousin pronounced "Vitara" as "KHATARA". hehehe

My guess was that top spec brv will be around the range of base model civic. If that's the case we can expect tivoli to be around 2.0.

If brv is priced at 2699, it will show that Honda hasn't learnt from its mistakes. They don't have to look at vitara or any other car, crv and hrv are very good examples of what can happen with incorrect pricing.

Well it doesn't matter if you pronounce it vitara or khatara. They imported 153 units and it's all sold out. Tbh the only problem is Suzuki's image in Pakistan. Otherwise vitara is a car better than all of these.

Sold out? Yes, it has been sold out. But the perception that all 153 cars have been sold out is wrong. Few cars must have been used in test drives, at least 10 must have been given to senior officials etc and many are standing in showrooms. I have myself seen atleast 8 to 10 cars in suzuki showrooms in karachi. So my estimate is they sold around 80 units in Pakistan. And this includes dealers as well.

As of yesterday, suzuki showroom opposite askari Park and Danish motors both had 2 vitara in the showroom. Don't know if they are still on sale

Thank you very helpful...not sure about Askari Park wala but Danish Motors simply say they dont have any in stock, the allocated quota was sold within the first week of launch. I was a bit surprised to learn that...a few inch lifted Swift with 4x4, priced at 3.8m was completely sold out within the 1st month of launch

So I really doubt that Ssangyoung or Honda will sell their crossovers for anything less than 2.8-3 million.

After KIA even Hyundai has cut ties with Dewan. God save Tivoli

Kia is being brought in by Younus brothers or Lucky Cement management
Hyundai Trucks signed an agrement with FAW
And the latest news says Nishaat Mills is bringing back Hyundai.

With all failed brands associated with Dewan i dont see a bright future for TIVOLI aswell. Looks like another bank loan scam to me.
