Good lesson for bankers, At the first place why bank officers issue car to a person who was not able to pay back? now bear it and enjoy

nobody is considered a criminal until he commits. the action of the bankers wasn't decent, but sometimes this has to be done according to the reactions coming from the lender, or keep escaping or trying to act as a child.those things are mostly overlooked. why would on earth the bankers try to get hold of this car, if the installments were payed, even late but before this thing happened. ofcouse they must be having a genuine reason.
i have worked in a foreign bank for some time. and once what happened, there was a group of people who leased 3 toyota corolla xli, they were failed to pay a single installment in four months, so we got those vehicles recovered by keep them informed. and when those cars brought back in the pool, the hilarious thing was they changed the engines with old old 2C engines upon inquiry they told us with so much of ease and being calm that we sold those engines in quetta and got these ones, as these are quite economical ......

there shud b a rule against this...if sumone is not paying the installments,file a case against them or like FIR or sumthing.but this is wrong that they snatch cars frm ppl on roads n now even in houses....ye to badmashi hy...!!!

Bank is an organisation that has to earn money from money i.e. to bear its own expenses as well as to pay profit to its customers. Naturally, as the recovery of leased property/vehicles becomes difficult, each bank will add the cost to cover the risk of bad debts to its paying customers. In the end what would happen is that the paying customers would end up bearing the loss incurred by black sheeps. So those who are happy to learn that bank officials have been jailed, should remember that not only leasing would become stringent, but the extra 2-3% would be added in the payment schedule to pay for the looters of public money.

Hmmm if a person has defaulted on his payments the bank officials have the right to recover the leased car but they do not have any right to take away the poor driver who has nothing to do with that .... so technically the case of kidnapping is justified

Im sure the people who are supporting bank have never experienced the friendly attitude of these officials ... a couple of months back there was a similar news where bank officials have not only harrassed but also insulted the family members of defaulter infront of whole neighbourhood and that guy later on committed suicide

I too have been victim of such friendliness when some officials from ABN AMRO bank now the RBS visited my home and insulted my mother infront of our neighbours for making a default on loan payment while we never take any loan from any bank and they didnt even apologize after learning about their mistake and although i did wrote a complaint to their headoffice they didnt apologize till today

i think they should also arrest the management that offers lowest basic pay where u need to earn everyone as commission...

Aren't there real criminals out there for the jail-happy judge to be incarcerating instead of people doing their job? Repossessing a car for non-payment is hardly an unbailable offence in the scheme of things. Reposession is never a pleasant task...and in a place where the rule of law is weak, it HAS to be done roughshod or no bank would ever recover anything.

The key issue to note here is that the bank officials took a 'POLICE PARTY' with them. If an illegal act was being committed, how could the police be escorting them....and if so, the policemen should be charged first!

This is typical of the state of affairs we find ourselves in. People with bad intentions and acts can get away with most anything (including burying or condoning the burial of live women). Meanwhile 'shareef' people trying to make an honest living or minding their own business get the crap harassed out of them.

Just as the bank officials were wrong in allegedly kidnapping the bank driver, the judge is not correct in holding up the bank officials.

Let's hope the judge would consider the fact that the defaulated loaner failed to make installments but could afford to have a driver.
