Additional District and Sessions Judge East Munawar Sultana on Saturday rejected the bail application of four bank officials and one lady recovery agent in a case pertaining to car theft and kidnapping.
All the five bank officials of the Standard Chartered Bank were allegedly involved in entering the house of one, Asad Ali, in the Ferozabad police station.
According to the complainant, he got a car leased on five years mortgage and he was to pay Rs1.2 million to the bank. He claimed that he had already paid some of the outstanding amount.
He alleged that the bank officials entered his house with the police party and took away his car and kidnapped his driver.
The arrested bank officials including bank recovery manager Mohammed Ali Kashif, revenue collection manager Jamal, consumer manager Fazal Ghani Hashim, head of recovery Irfan Ali, recovery agent Nigah Ali were produced in the court.
They allegedly harassed his family members in his absence and took away his car and kidnapped the driver. The court after hearing the complaint of the applicant rejected the bail application of the arrested bank officials. The bank officials are in jail now.
