STARLET EP-70 Project

Hello Guys,

I have a 88'Starlet ep70 that I want to restore for performance. It's my daily driven family car. I want to change it from 4-speed manual to 5-speed manual. It currently has a swapped Indus Corolla 1.3 engine so would appreciate if someone could help me out here. The car requires denting and painting. Doors need some work too aa well as the locks.

I also want to upgrade suspension and brakes.

I want the best combo so I don't have to visit the mechanic every 2 months to get things fixed.

Please advise.

Indus corolla engine would require a custom bellhousing. A engines such as 4A-FE or a 5A-FE would suit your application since adapters exist.

It probably came with a 1E 1liter engine, hence the 2E was a bolt on swap.

The C51 could potentially bolt up to his 2E engine.
