The light whch sells for 400 is not genuine by any standards, and if yu say it is then you should judge the quality of that yourself.
And mehran does not justify ots price by any standard. People buy it because tehre are no other options below or around that price and that is the only advantage which suzuki has exploited in pakistan.
And the parts which you think are available as original after market are usually horrible and one gets to know about it only ater using them.
And speaking of Pak Suzuki, Brake pads of baleno cost 3400-3500 in open market if you ever dare to buy original. same pads are used in Cultus as well. Now thats value for money ad cheap parts, right?
I pay 2400 Rs. for genuine brake pads of spectra nd if i haggle a bit i get a discount of 100-150 as well but i am always sure that its genuine. Original air filter from company costs 400 Rs. Even mehran's filter cost more from cpmpany. Original Oil filter costs 205, again mehrans filter from company is expansive. And that is why i love my out of market flop car. Its cheap to maintain and it always gets genuine parts at cheaper prices.
And if it may add any value, my father was part of that team which established the Pak Suzuki plant in 1982, The first car was proced at 45K and after 6 months when government control was lifted, price was what? take a guess?
Al the things and happenings of Pak Suzuki show clearly about their intentions but you need an eye to see what they are doing with you
