@Nick and Spectra, you both have a point, however the fact is, Japanese managers run this car company. They have had direct control of the factory QC, which is not the case over the border. So, whats their excuse for the poor finish? Perhaps Indian managers are more patriotic? Your guess is as good as mine..

We can not compare Indian market with Pakistani market because of huge volume difference. Even though most cars 1000cc and under in Pakistan are made by Suzuki but still it won't be 10% of what Maruthi is Selling in India, hence with the extra profits they can invest in R&D and all other perks. I think Pak Suzuki does not make the kind of profit that they can re-invest anything. But local mangers may mean much lesser salaries and more money in the profit sheet.

Economies of scale is not that big an excuse to justify the differences still. Does that mean that small economies cannot deliver any goods? No, they can and there is a way of doing it.

Great effort to break the monopolistic behavior of auto motive industry of pakistan.
The biggest crooks of our society are present and past governments who have gave the business entities an idea of looting the nation. Pak Suzuki and its japanese managemet is aware that how thing run in this country. That our nation can easily be fooled.
"You keep on demanding what you want, and the other person pretends he's not listening. He looks at your eagerness and takes full advantage of it".
In pakistan customer is slave not king.
