Steering vibrates on braking: Liana

Liana RXI 2006, Non ABS. 15000 kms driven. Local Islamabad. Single handed.

Recently I have noticed that the steering vibrates on braking at 60 kms or above. There is absolutely no pulsating feeling on the brake pedal. Its just the steering. I have had the disks checked, tyres balanced and rotated do that I could eliminate the possibilities one by one. But the problem is still there. At times, the whole dash board shivers while braking. Any idea whats happening and whats the best way to tackle it?

i met a liana owner on a wheel alignment shop facing the exactly same problem,i asked him that whats the matter,us ne kaha k woh suzuki walo k pass gea they changed the disc plates,pads, problem stil there than balance alignment bla bla but problem is stil there than they changed the rims and owner check that k problem ziada ho gae hai lol.woh wapis gea or wohi purane rims fit krwae.uss aligment shop wale ne check kia k front left wheel ke complete hub mein play hai or yehi fault hai.bro ager app ne check kar lia hai tu theek nahi tu check that

If Balancing not working could be tires??

@toofast the d shape tyres can easily be checked by moving ur ride slowly on a plane road,u will feel that ur ride is dancing.and Hasnain bhai ne yeh tu check kia he ho ga,

The tyres are ok. The alignment wala said your power steering needs adjustment. Shimmer?

Usualy the discs/rotors gets deshaped causing such problem. It cannot be the power steering. Worst scenario can be the hub itself as told by leo

asking for power steering repairs surely means trouble.
i dont think our mechanics are capable to undertake repairs of this sensitive item

Get the rear brakes serviced.

If ur car vibrating then usually it is the disk problem. u need to get a tool on ur disks. this problem is common in civics and santros. The disks get deshaped when u put water on them while they r hot.

yaar suzuki hai. wht can u expect more? i think u guyz didnt see the 0 meter cultus on pakwheels. when u see it then u will relize wht type of quality is suzuki giving/

Get the hub Checked ( On whick the bearing fits) ...This might be the only problem left...Thats a common problem in cars that heapeens due to running car on Imbalanced tyres abd Rubbish Road bumps.

Do not change anything just took the front brake Discs (NOT pads) to the Kheradwala and told him to Polish it (surfacing).Your Problem will be solved INSHALLAH.

i also experienced similar problem but in my car after putting wheel alignment & changing someting called rubber bushes ,then problem solves, so i think you alos go for good 4 head wheel alignment & also get your bushes checked
