Steering wheel and dashboard vibrating at 120 km/h

Hello fellow pakwheelers!
I have a cuore (2005 model - 96000 km driven). The car is fine at upto 105 km/h but starts vibrating if pushed harder.

My mechanic says it's because the car is 10 years old and rings are starting to wear out.
I replaced all 4 tyres and have since driven around 15000 km. The tyres don't have any uneven wear and car doesn't pull to side on flat road.

Is my mechanic right? Something else causing issue?

Get the wheel's balanced and car aligned.
Also check for loose suspension part's and bushes.
No the mechanic is wrong.....

Do you know how much an alignment and wheel balancing costs?

Can be inner cv joints too. I had a car which drove smooth upto 120km/h after it started to vibrate dashboard and front end. I replaced all suspension parts but no use in the end i put kabuli axels and did alignment and balancing and car was smooth as butter till 180km/h

Thanks everyone. The problem was of alignment. After that the car no longer vibrates. Another tip I learned was that while braking, don't depress clutch and just apply brake unless the RPM drop just about the required RPM for a gear, at that point then press clutch. This will cause a smoother braking and less wear and tear and shaking of car body.

If u press clutch while Normal driving (for brakes or whatever) ull ruin ur clutch/pressure plate very quickly. I usually keep the manual car in neutral and apply brakes, for a "smooth" experience.
