Lack of knowledge my friend at that time, but I am still happy that I bought a decent ride, Steermatic would have been a better option but .... anyway ... maybe I can find some good ride some day and also within my budget which is also limited. But I keenly follow this thread to see what I have missed

Can anyone guide as to where one can get the City Steermatic owner's manual. I have tried all options including searching online and emailing to Honda/visiting their office but to no avail.

Aoa guys, i own a 2006 steermatic, it has done 72k on odo meter..i m the first owner of the car and car is maintained by Authorised Honda dealership! Recently an issue arised. The car sort of shudders when you start moving (from stationary), once its moving the transmission performs superb, no noise or vibrations. Any one facing this kind of problem..?? Help me out
I m very disappointed as i have kept my car with great care and is always mainted by Honda Dealership and always genuine products were used! According To my limited knowledge this seems to b a faulty cvt transmission! Cvt fluid was replaced at 40K!! Honda guy says no solution for this problem..you have to replace the whole transmission...

Yes you are right brother!! I got them checked some rubber are required to be changed!! But car vibrates on level even steep roads..... no noise on jumps etc.. i doubt that issue will not be resolved after that as it dont seems to be a faulty rubber part issue...

it means mountings are good, but foundations needed to be replaced. get them change,
since periodical maintenance has been kept and cvtf is changed timely there should be no issue in transmission unless it shows error light in meter.
always replace cvtf every 2 years or 30k km which ever comes first and forget what honda says abt changing them at 40k km. those moron got no idea.

this vibration issue has occurred and resolved by changing foundation of rides of many owners.

Aren't foundation and mounting the same thing? Plz explain so i can get my self clear and act accordingly...

In almost ten years you have changed CVT transmission oil just once! As pointed out it has to be changed after every two to three years. Suggest change it now and see if it helps. Are you in Lahore?

I have a Honda City 2007 model Steermatic , i have a problem in it as since few months my steermatic 7 speed mode is is not functioning as when shift my gear in the D drive mode and then press the 7speed mode the lights wont open it and when i drive on the d drive on auto transmission the RPM is always dropped and then the gear is jerking can any one let me know where should i have to check my car for this problem .
