Update: Custom and Local Streermatic.
So I had the FSL tests done and everything was clear and ETO also provided the necessary documents. It took me 9 days to get the car back, a legal, non-import, Pakistani car. Friggin nine days, at first I waited to see if the process was as fast as they claimed, but alas it was not, AD would tell me that the car will be released in a day, the DeputyD would say I have to discuss with Director etc every single one of them was just getting it of their hands. In the end had to call a few people to get things done, which is very unfortunate because it was a legit vehicle and should have been released earlier.
These moron have zero clue on how to identify vehicle, I was in their office and I told them you guys messed up here and now you are afraid what your superiors might say on detaining a Pakistani car.
The individual who was so sure that my car was illegal, had the audacity to say "Ap ne tu gari puri japani banai hui hai!" I went like WTF? kidhar se japani hai bhai? they would not accept that it was their fault they made a mistake, kept telling me to keep xyz document in car, do this do that. Unfreaking believable.
Just a quick request could you guys confirm if your car's seat belt tag say's made in Thailand, in case you havent changed it.
