If after this problem persist then replace the complete Gear. you car gearbox is damaged due to non-Honda and non-CVT Automatic Fluid used. non CVT fluid damages the valve body and valve body then didn't supply the sufficient CVT fluid circulation and it caused damage the gear.
The 2nd hand Qabuly gear will cost you 8-10 thousand max in exchange with old gear and the guranty will be for 3 consecutive days. After new gear use 7 liter pin pack Honda CVT oil.

valve body will be repaired if contaminated just clean with patrol if beyond repaired not so expensive

how to get code with OBD or its written on the trans ? if its on the transmission where to check it ?

for that u have to remove under sheild
advice for u before going to swap calibrate cvt and check valvebody and clean it

@ranker84 there is a big gear repair shop in Liaquatabad market. you can try their services too. if they can repair your issue you will be all good with your own transmission. atleast pay them a visit and discuss

Hello Everyone,

I have Honda City Steermatic 2006 engine mileage 180,000. Engine condition is average. the car was giving me fuel average of 9-9.5kms/Ltr. However, recently the fuel average drastically dropped to 6-7/kms;ltr. i got it tuned (plugs/ taped), fuel filter cleaned, oil changed, air filter changed. the average now is 8kms/ltr.

i want to get the catalytic converter serviced now, maybe that improve the cars performance, my car is also having trouble in pick, a small hump gives the car a tough time, though it has imprved after tuning.

Pls suggest any better place to get the catalytic converter serviced. i have visited motor clean in g8. they told me an approximate expenditure of 4.5k plus if the converter is faulty, than i have to replace that. as per them, new converter costs 15-20k kabli, and without dismantling the converter/ silencer, they cannot tell me if the current converter is okay or needs to be replace.

I am in Islamabad.

Hello Steermatic Fan,

I bought my 1st steermatic its 109 driven in pretty good condition. It was used on petrol but I think CNG was also used. Its running fine I feel a bit sluggish I am coming from 1800c Manual Car and its my 1st auto. I changed plugs to denso iridium tht improved the torque a lot.

Guide me with cvt oil change do I need to get anything else change or cleaned such as valve body?

Changing engine oil, cvt, fuel filter.

Change you fuel filter and fuel pump(recomended) and in G-8 there is mudasir electrician. he is technically sound but busy and put less attention if you didn't pressure him to take your car serious.
Mudasir is expert of cataletic converter, and don't use kabli things in honda, as its not suzuki.

replace you complete gearbox with kabli one. Ii will cost 14k max

Gear Price is 15k. Plus the labour charges will be around 3k to 5k.
this CVT is not so reliable and I wonder if anyone knows that the qabli gear we get that is compatible with 7 Speed mode?

Anyone tried replacing gear? Do we have to remove engine as well?

if u have steermatic then no need of alteration and if simple cvt then alteration is simple change a gear of new one with old one and tr switch

Steermatic giving me over14KMPL in ISB Pindi. Impressed by the A/C of the car even though compressor is little bit noisy but performance is very good.
