I have replaced complete my steermatic gear in March 2018, in 7000/- and also give the older one in replacement after three days check warranty. and paid 2000/- for gear replacement labor and but 7 liter Honda genuine CVTF of rupes 8000/-
ask the shopkeeper (warehouse) that your car has paddle shifter so he will give your the 7speed mode gear. They know every thing even better.
Never use the old oil in your kabli/new gearbox only honda genuine CVT. otherwise you will destroy your gear again and it may happen within one hour drive.

Well thats a great price. Usually they ask for around 14k for gear and labour is around 3k plus the CVT oil.

From where you got all the work done? 7 Speed Mode working? Any issues in Speedo meter calibration?

Hello All,
My foolish mechanic poured 1 Ltr of ZIC ATF in the gear Oil, the excel seal was leak and instead of Handa CVT, he poured that ZIC ATF (

What do i do now? change the complete oil with new CVT oil or carry on??
i had recently changed the gear oil and it had a running of only 5k, can i continue using my car with such a mixture in gear oil (2.5lts of honda CVT + 1 ltr of ZIC ATF)??

please suggest,

My 7 speed mode button is giving issues. Anyone replaced or fixed the button? I wonder if we can fix or how much used or new one will cost

Exactly my issue too. It doesn't work anymore. Plus I'm planning to restore my Steermatic that I've ignored for 2 years now because of traveling. Any expert wants to help?

Hope you are doing well?

Good to know that your steermatic working perfectly and you guys are enjoying it

I have a steermatic 2007 and done with 188K. From the gear situation and jerks it seem to get it replaced.

Honda Margalla and Honda Classic do not have it and they advise to get the Kabuli but they are not taking any responsibility of it. On the Other Side they traced out that Seal between Engine oil and Gear is also having a minor leakage that some time Oil is traveling into gear side. Also get sealed replaced when you get the gear changed.

As you guys get the gear replaced of steermatic kindly recommend any any good mechanic in Islamabad for the replacement of Steermatic gear and also advise for good denter and Painter in Islamabad.

Hi all.

I have a 1.3 iDSI city 2007. It came with 13 inch steel wheels. I'm planning to get 15 inch alloy wheels (7 spoke) which came with 1.5 steermatic.

Anyone here who has done this with his car?

Where can I find quality orignal Honda city steermatic alloy rims for this car? I live in lahore.

What effects will I get after upgrading to 15 inch alloys from 13 inch steel wheels?

What's the maximum possible safe width of tyres for this car? I have 185 as of now. What about 195?

Can you guys also recommend me tyre size for 15 inch alloys? I want the widest tyre that can fit without problems.

donot go for 15 tyre yur eps will be heavy and steermatic suspension is different as of 1.3 idsi. self centering of steering will be less. iam saying this on self experience as i changed my tyre size and ruin my drive

How will this effect my car's eps? What was the size of tyre you got with 15 inch wheels?
