yeaterday nite i drag my car wid liana petrol n XLI petrol

maza aaa gaya ...we accelerate wid dead stop only for few seconds i.e when they realease the clutch they was aheah 2 cars after tht i crossed dem like bullets .....

my car iz on petrol cant run for daily use ... i thnk now petrol iz left for drags .LOLZZZZZ

which transmission mode iz best for attaining TOP speed

7 speed auto on s mode ..OR cvt on s mode ?????

^ For top speed D w/o manual is the best mode. For drags just press the manual mode button once but do not choose gears by tapping the up down shifters.

rl589: kool yaar wish you have made a video - people always underestimate steermatic

for quick accelaration: start with 7 speed mode on S and as you go to 5000 rpm change to auto (s) but for attaining good top end u gotta go to D eventually

so u are saying that in the drag u were initially 2 cars behind, that is understandable since manual car will always have an advantage of quick launch!!!

if u would had a rollon on 30km/h the story might have been different

a few months back i also had a roll-on with a corolla, i got the initial lead but it caught up but not that easily and u know the most surprising thing???? it was an altis manual!!! and since it was night time i did not know which rolla i am taking panga with - yes altis won but that is understandable since it is 1.8 DOHC manual

A quick fuel consumption check. I filled my tank yesterday and here are the readings.

Mileage: 432
Petrol: 32.67 Ltrs
for Rs.: 2250

Result: 13.22 km/ltr

all within city with 20% AC

This is what i got after today morning's fill-up

Trip reading 266.5 km
Litres consumed 22.41 L
Avg 11.9km/l

All of the driving was in city with 80% AC.

The driver's side power window was giving me trouble for a while now. Got the rubber channel replaced under warranty from honda today. No hassle at all in claiming warranty. Took me 15 minutes to get it done and they never raised an eyebrow over my changed head unit.

No doubt honda customer service is better than toyota (personal experice says that as i've also owned a Coure Auto!)

Anyway got my car serviced this morning and was a little surprise to see that some of the paint from the inner portion rear wheel arches is peeling off. Should i go for some under carriage paint-protection as rust was evident at small places.

One more question from fellow steermatic owners. What's the colour and odometer reading of your car. Mine's Vouge silver with 16,700km on the odo. Do reply......

Filled the tank yesterday and here are the readings.

Petrol: 34.82 Ltrs
for Rs.: 2400

Result: 11.34 km/ltr

all within city with 90% AC

Mileage:1650 km
Fuel consumed: 149 Ltrs
Resulting average is just above 11km/l with 100% AC. With fuel now above rs 75/l i plan to go for cng. If others here are interested then we can plan a group buy.

@all bros i wanna 2 remove the catalytic converter ... how it will be remove or who can do this without any harm 2 the car ..or after removing will the engine light blink ???

dudes i will Inshallah go for my 25000km service soon, should i change the CVT oil at this stage coz as per manual it will be changed at 40,000.

Alhamdulillah there is nothing wroing with my ride but just seeking comments for you all

Retro, the manual says 40,000 km or 2 years. If you car's 2 years old then i think you should change it. I've clocked 18,000km and my car is almost 2 years old (22 months to be exact). Will inshallah change the CVT oil at 20,000 km service.
