@ Adil bhai, finally got the transmission oil changed at 34,000 km. The car now feels a little smoother in drive mashallah. Besides, there was a slight shrug when accelerating hard from standstill which has simply disapperaed as well.

I've no idea how this title appeared over the forum, as I just pasted the hyperlink without any such title 'Fastest 1.3 car ... ' .. seems like PW web master has to check the HTML coding and tags mappings :D...

So far got reasonable offers but I must say I've seen some HOPELESS people whom dealers said that Steermatic is a FAILURE car and they are afraid to buy this car. But still they come and see the car. Admire it and looking for a cheap buy.. which for sure they wouldn't get.. I've lot of patience and will wait for the right offer...

today in evening washed my ride and give her a little treat of polish.(ice).

say Masha ALLAH pls :).

she is 3 year and 4 day old today and have covered the distance of 32k in three years and i enjoyed every day of her driving :D.

Ironic isn't it. I witnessed your steermatic first-hand today. I was going to Mazadar Haleem and spotted your ride on the way. I recognized the license plate but by the time I lowered my window you had already passed. Pictues are not doing any justice to the shine that I saw in the evening on your car. Mashallah! The ride still looks new.....

how r u brother? ur car looks stunning, pix almost never do justice but still we can witness a lot shine in there.mine needs polish badly, will do it after my exams r over.

and please elaborate ur comments about the petromin oil, how do u check if an oil is good or bad? i mean which factors do we have to consider to rate an oil?

Guys, if I were to ask you 5 things that you love about your steermatic what would they be? Here's my answer:

1. Engine Power
2. Fuel Economy (being a 1.5L)
3. Optitron Meters
4. 7 Spoke alloys
5. Last but not the least the look on the face of all rolla xli/gli owners when i rip them apart (they don't expect such fierce accelaration from a city do they?).....

@moiz: Though i am an "ex" owner but still love steermatic. I endorse all the points you have mentioned and would like to add that the manual override mode works very well if you learn to master it.

I always wait for someone to upload some steermatic race video but so far on PW there is only 1 where steermatic rips apart a manual lancer 1.3. I know man it is 1.3 lancer but auto still has its disadvantages with initial launch

Hit 35,000 km on the odo recently. Time for service.......

I remember it was in November 2009 when I completed 30,000 km. Took almost nine months to complete 5,000 km.

But yeh point number 5 main xli/gli ko mention krna zaroori tha kya?

@topic I think that the steermatic being 1.5 litre and having a Vtaaak engine must be producing around 110~115 hp
So I was interested to know that which car will lead in a 400 metre drag if its City vs Honda Civic EXI (01~06) shape as that car is having 1.5 litre d15y3 (non vtec) engine.
