Step aside Toyota Yaris...Honda Fit is here

I drove the Honda Fit (Jazz) in Thailand, the drive was awesome however it's similar to the Honda City. The 1.5L definitely felt more powerful than our City however the drive was almost identical. Fit/Jazz is really popular in Thailand, it's almost as if every other car is a Fit over there.

And there's a Mugen Souped Up Version with a supercharger, now that's gotta be a wicked ride since it's pushing over 145 bhp.

I'd take it over the Yaris/Vitz or Ist anyday because the looks and drive are totally tricked out.

mugen tune-ups are always baller...but their stuff is so rare..we can hardly get our hands off any good parts.

were u sitting there in the factory with the designers who designed FIT???or u over heard someone saying that they r going to target vitz/yaris with Fit..n for ur kind info i've already mentioned that Fit is on the same platform as city is..n its my choice whether i compare it with IST or even a donkey cart..nonya!!

Nak my friend, give it up. You might think there is no comparison between the yaris and fit, but motortrend, autocar and zdnet all disagree with you. I didnt sit with the designers, but im sure a bunch of world renown magazines know more than us. And they agree with me. The Fit can EASILY compete with the Yaris in pakistan.

Perhaps someone should bring it in - considering it's an old model and has not been introduced to pakistan. It'd be a cheap option for someone looking for an alternative to a yaris.

1.3L 2x2=US$ 14000
1.3L 4x4=US$ 16200
1.5L 2x2=US$ 17400

these r the ex-factory prices in Japan (i've taken 'em from a japanese car trader's site)...they include no shipping, no other charges...so man cars r expensive...i think the ones which u have in Canada r domestically assembled/manufactured thats y they may be inexpensive

oh my bad....$15K is the starting price here in canada...and the top model is at $19K...and thats Canadian dollars...not US.

Given this....the price of 1.2MM aint bad then..but then that only covers the top of the line model...there should be a base model also for ppl who dont wanna go for the top of the line...

I like the fit, but sine it is new to PK there are to parts available (thog alot of city parts do work on it) i chose a vitz (also i had an acho back when i was in hthe UAE - so i was already familiar with it)

To me; Honda Fit is a Compressed form of Honda Civic Type-R.

Its like they took a Civic Type-R and added Rear Doors, then they Compressed the Car with WinZip 10.0 or most probably WinRAR 3.2.......
I mean they look SiMiLAR !

Come on ppl, why dont you read the reviews or compare sales figures of cars on the net, it is not that way that I hate honda or have a bias towards toyota, but facts are facts, yaris new model IS compared head to head with Honda FIT, and yaris is outright winner when it comes to sales, reliability, good looks and features, apart from having better mileage and options, and let me tell you, the new Yaris is avialable in Canada and States in 1.5 L VVT-I and 1.8 L VVT-I engines with hosts of gadgetry. This is what people say, not me or others here. Besides, US recently conducted a survey of the most reliable Motor Car Manufacturer in the world and guess what, which company topped? Of course the Toyota Motor Corp. According to them, toyota cars have the most minimum number of faults on average compared to all manufacturers of the world.

Well Fit is the hatchbaq of the HOnda city with the Lseries engine.. The city in JAPAN is also known as HONDA FIT ARIA... So if they look similar, its not sumthing bad!!
