Stephen R. Covey, Author of Seven Habits, Dies at 79

Stephen Covey passed away today. he was a great self help author and wrote one of the best selling books of all times; "The seven habits of highly effective people". He was equally famous in Pakistani as well as all the business circles in the world. Companies all over the world conduct seminars on the seven habits and principle centered leadership which were taught by Mr. Covey and his organization. He will indeed be remembered for years to come.

As, I believed you had the book so needed to clear my concept 'How the whole could be greater than the sum of the parts?' Where is the law of the conservation of energy?

In economics they have a concept of economies of scale.

You can think of it in a way that when there are many small parts, higher chances of loosing something here and there. I have done a fair amount of study on it, its complete non-sense. And I'm only talking about marketing stuff taught at universities...
Economics is still fairly technical. Business is useless. And the actual sciences are the real deal.

what is business ? demand & supply wealth sharing & distribution is major part of economics. if businesses (demand stops supply will halt) STOP, economy cripple & seize to exist. what are the elements over which an economy is based upon.

what is science ' a Latin word meaning knowledge ' - only technical stuff is not knowledge a tailor master stitching our trousers is doing it based on science.

I was like WTF? how come we muslims didn't have those habits and why they weren't discovered until that book came out? the molvi was just being stupid; this book has nothing to do with Islam. Islam is very general but this book is very specific; which makes it so great - especially the time management part.

Are you in your senses, Islam is very specific even in teaches how to drink water, and what can be a better lesson for time management then to pray five times on time !

1. maybe u didnt have any of those habits.
2. maybe u've never actually read quran and hadith.
3. Anything that doesnt teach you how to make money is useless to you..

Well my friend i totally disagree with your thoughts here. Islam is not general at all. Its very specific. You can find dozens of information on even a minute and ignorable things. The molvi was right here. Islam is a complete code of life. And solution of every problem and how to lead life is is in Quran.

According to survey Hazrat Muhammad (p.b.u.h) is the most greatest and influential figure of world. And he follow the teaches of Quran. We need to read it properly in order to attain those levels.

However to understand Quran you need alot of concentration. You need to start it from 0 to build all the concepts in accordingly manner. And these fancy writers just publish there books in that way that even the dumbest of people can understand it easily.

This books just makes personal management easier for you and i have benefited a lot from this book than any other book. for example now i never blame anyone for anything that happens with me. i only learned it form this book that i am responsible for my own self.

this books is about principles made by Allah, sent to us in the form of Quran. Mr. Covey only explained some of those principles in more easier terms which no molvi ever did.

there religious books are rarely taught to us and are not palpable (easily understood) for general public that's why you see most of the people not following it.

You haven't read Islamic scriptures properly...
Read Quran first with translation, then read sahih bukhari , then sahih muslim...start to finish, then you will realize that you are still wrong.
