-Most reliable option in case of kitchen top counters.
-Dont dim with passage of time
-No fault in pores and surface
-Rate varies from 250 Rs Per Sq Ft to 1300 Per Sq ft, depends upon type and origin.
-Most famous in construction are Jet Black Granite (rate 350 Rs Per Sq Ft ,imported from India ) and Galaxy Black Granite (rate 550 Per Sq ft)

-More good looks w.r.t interior
-Average Reliability

3- Marble Slabs
-Most economical option cost wise so far but limited relibility as marble slabs have very high tendency of breakage in case of impact
-Below average interior looks
-Rate 100-250 Rs Per Sq Ft
-Degradation rate is high with passage of time
-Polish dims very frequently
-Not recommended at all if you are planning to sell home
