Bhai Jaan. No issue w.r.t reliability at all. Ignore your mistri sb and follow following way;
- cement wall will be painted after wall pattii with same paint as of room. All pores will be closed so no chance of tiddi or anything if almari is properly sealed from front after proper balancing of frame and pallas.

-whereever shelves will come , lakri ka aik aik gazz lagain on 3 walls then place shelf over this gazz with help of nail. During placing shelf tie it with center wood support pillar too. Nothing will happen. So where ever it will shelf , there will be guzz on 3 sides of walls. Even u can connect 3 guzz with front guzz too for extra mazbooti.

Remaining if u r not satisfied then u can proceed with mistri advise but termite chance 100% in ur mistri design.

Thanks tajamal bhai. You are very helpful. I am using pvc sheet i think there is no any issue of termite anyway. However i will tell the mistri about the things you told me. Because i am newbie and don't have deep knowledge about it.

Aoa tajamul i hope you are doing good. I need your advice once again...

Washroom floor is made up of chips and after installing ptrap, washroon needs to raise 2 inches. Tile mistri is very experienced person and he told me he will do kachha by small layer of bond on the current chipa floor then he will place a layer of 1-1.5 inch cement and rait masala for kacha then he will place the floor tiles.

There is a fact that cement can't stick to chips floor but bond can be stick to the chips floor. By following this logic he spread little layer of bond and pour cement masala and floor is kachha now

Please shed some light on this technique

Ws Dear,
I dont know why washroom floor is made up of chips. Chips usually employed at places where water is expected to present at all time round the clock (e.g. water tank, main sewer holes, connecting swer holes). Using chips at normal bath floor will be of no of little advantage except satisfaction of mind and high capital cost. Chips prevents water seepage and in regular bath use, seepage chances are very rare as tile it self is very strong non-porous media. Anyways if you have used, at-least try to avoid in other baths. Chips however can be used in floors of basement where in area there are very high complaints if water seepage from floors.

Cement will have better bonding over chips or bond, this we never experienced before as we never pour anything over chips. You can do experiment by placing small amounts of cement and bond over chips separately and after 2 or 3 days, you can check its integrity with hammer. Or consult with an Civil professional for further guidance, as I have limited knowledge of this case scenario. Thanks.

Dear @tajammal84 Thank you for the information for all.
Presently my house is in grey structure stage means complete plaster done. Now, Due to job requirement we had to stop further construction.
Can you tell that we leave the house in the same state for 3-4 years or some curing of plaster is required?

Dear Cement Strength will be weak day by day from outer and from inner side too. So ultimately structure strength will weak too. Following steps recommended as a minimum.
1. Install aluminum windows at all places and lock windows.
2. At exhaust fan place install mesh frame for ventilation purpose.
3. Do 2 coats of white cement inside and outside house to decrease degradation rate and strength of cement.

By above even damage can not be 100 % control but 70 to 80% controlled.

Tajamal this is 32 years old house.at that chips was preferred. However mistri place small layer of bond and then he placed layer of cement then fixed the tile...

Thank you for the reply. I totally agree with 2 coats of white cement from inside and outside and that I am planning after estimating total expenditure. But closing of windows will reduce ventilation and normally becomes cause of cracks in walls as per my understanding!
What would you say about it?

No crack will develop due to windows installation. Also I told you natural ventilation will occur automatically from exhaust fan places. If no exhaust provision left even in ths case install windows and keep 1 section of window Partially open.

sir white cement se plster mein crack aa jtay hain as I have experienced, bcz white cmemt thora hard hota hai jis se cracks aa jatay hain, Maple leaf cement walon nay white cement ke alternative kay taur par aik product launch ki hai Wall Coat, wo bhi actually white cement per hi base kerta hai magar thora behtar hai magar mera apna experience nahi hai uss pe, please suggest about Wall Coat.

Don't know about it. If they claim its an better product, then I think there is no issue in using it.

Dear,
Dont go for mdf skirting. It can not sustain with weather condition, wet cloth touching on daily basis due to housekeeping. You will get termite within no time if you go with this option. In 99% cases termite comes out from floor and wall corner and you are planing to employ mdf skirting, not a gd idea at all. If you like this design very much then try to get it in cement casted or plaster material. Not recommended in any wooden material at all.

House front elevation already built so nothing can be change at this stage. Following are suggestions;
1. Rather giving 3 windows in front rooms just give 1 window of regular size in center. It will help in conserving corner room space and will minimize heat effect in summers and coldness in winters.

1. Try to install double glazz glass window innfront rooms.

2. A good and elegant selection of tile/stone pitching work at front elevation will add a great looks.

3. Give electrical points for elevation at 2 or 3 places.

Dear Sarmad,
We never awarded polish work separately. Whole work (house complete paint + Polish) always given to one party so that they couldn't have escape by saying that that was other party fault. Also always award lump sump work, never indulge into single quantity of Sq ft measurement, otherwise you will be trapped. Matt Polish work have 10-15% extra rate as compared to shine polish and matt polish also costly in terms of material.

You can take example (4 months back) with following details;
Size: 7 Marla
Total Lump Sump Labour Rate Package (thekka): 1,85,000/ (one Lakh eighty five thousand Rupees Only)
Scope of Work: Weather sheet at Front Elevation, regular distemper(water based emulsion) in all rooms and roofs, 3 Cupboards exterior matt Polish, 15 doors (inclusive main door) matt polish, 2 LCD racks matt polish

In ISB rates are too high and quality of work is very pathatic. I wish, may you get a good party. Best of Luck!
