Steps in House Complete Construction Dedicated Thread

1. Purchase ventilation plastic body (GFC OR PAK FAN) fan 1st 8"or 10" as per bath required size
2.mark wall after measuring required fan space with lead pencil
3.use grinder cutter(same which electrician use) till max depth. Cutter will cut atleast 3 inch section of wall. Once u completed jhari as per marking, remove cutting section with iron chiesel.
4. Repeat same step no 3 from outer side too.and u will achieve 6" section removal.
5. After 4th step, repeat step 3 from inside to remove last 3" depth section.

Use big diameter and new grinder disc of SJL brand. Hope, you task will be done without damage to other parts of wall.

Above is standard method, if u not eager for it, i can propose other method too but it will involve use of Hilti drill and specialized carbide tip hilti bit shanks and will be a costly solution. Output of both method w.r.t quality is same. Thanks

What's the drill solution? I intend to buy once for all drill. The other method is not doable by myself and I want to avoid debris that can damage tile work in bathroom

Dear Have a look on below method. Assume the square as area of wall which you want to remove. You need to do 9 holes with shown hilti. Once holes making is done you very easily can remove later portion of bricks left over.

This Hilti and Bit is usually present with Good Electricians. If you want to buy personally, it will be costly option and only drill and bit will cost you around 37000 PKR. This Hilti will make one complete across hole in max 3 to 4 mins and other wall portion will not be disturb at all. Only negative is presence of very very fine dust in bath so close doors before you go with this method.

Shown in the picture is chinese one.

You simply visit any good tool hardware shop and how them picture. As a minimum, only go for STANLEY or HYUNDAI rotary Hammer Drill. If you got Stanley it more good as its Global brand.

few observations from my experience of constructing my home:

1. do not use wooden chokat ever, use steel one and have wood pasted on top of it. it will save a lot of wood cost and prevent termites
2. Have a rubber strip on door jamb, it will dampens door closing sound
3. Use marble or chips/terrazo for side walks and on terrace floors. basically on all floor area exposed to direct sunlight. Tiles doesn't last very long for direct sunlight, rain and impact of dropping things on it
4. Corian is not suitable for kitchens due to heat and cutting marks and it degrades with time, use corian or marble in bathroom window edges
5. Interior and exterior Paint should be done at least after one year of construction. this will give enough time for plaster to dry out.
6. Floor tiles should be non-slip matt finish while wall tiles can be glossy. try to get half-body tiles if available
7. keep maintenance and house cleaning in mind when designing ceilings or niches. complex patterns are difficult to clean and accumulate dust and insects
8. door should be wide enough for wheelchair and add ramp on main entrance
9. install AC indoor unit at 7' height, it will cool the room faster. AC drains should be preinstalled in wall/floor to bathroom drain. AC outdoor should be on top roof through 4" pipe in the wall
10. consider glass cleaning when used in kitchen, better avoid and use UV sheet. CNC cut the cabinet cover below kitchen sink
11. use larger window in washroom and you won't need an exhaust fan, washroom niche should be at 4' from floor and 1'6" in height
12. keep wardrobe out of washroom as there will be high humidity and smell in washroom

Please recommend some software to design a map. I need it to create a mock and then hand it to some architect of course to do it professionally. Mocking up on paper takes a lot of time because of many revisions.

I need to design layouts for the basement, ground and 1st floor of 1 kanal house.

I have seen many houses and most investors/thekdars waste a lot of space and generally target people who want to buy property as investment and rent it out.
