@tajammal84 bro are there any precautions to keep in mind while making a hole in hollow block wall. I need to make a hole for exhaust fan in bathroom wall. I don't know the location of block joints.

As a precautionary measure ,you can remove plaster with chisel 1st, once block is slight visible then you can remove from joint. Else there is possiblity that 3 or 4 blocks can leave their original place due to hammer impact.

hi...what sizes of tiles are best suitable for the following areas considering their dimensions,

1- Living room 23 x 15
2- Drawing room 22 x 12.5
3- Bedrooms 15 x 12.5

In my personal opinion and preferences large size tiles will look good..but what are the demerits of using large size tiles in these areas....

They will be comparatively expensive. And if some tile breaks, then replacement cost will also be higher.

2ndly, consider 2'x2' single tile and matrix of 2'x2' containing 16 tiles of 6"x6" each. If anyone from these breaks, then they might be 2~3 tiles (may be even 1) which will have to be replaced, so cost will be less, but if one single tile of 2'x2' breaks, then cost will be quite high.

Agreed with all points of @basitali87

Other than that, in bed room mostly area shall be occupied by bed and tiles long/good looking look will be break. You can deploy large size like 2ft by 4ft in lounge if u like, else 2ft by 2ft is ok as its looks good and not heavy on pocket too. Thanks

Couple of questions more,

1- Kitchen is open with living room. Should i go for different color of tiles in Kitchen or keep the same tiles and pattern as the living room which will make the whole area bigger and wider.

2- If i go for 2 x 4 ft tiles in living room what is the better way of installing them...in longitudinal way or in Horizontal way?....the living room dimension is mentioned in my above post.

Usually kept separate from lounge w.r.t aesthetics and to show as an separate area.
Tiles to be layed along length with longest dimension side.

Whatever you like. Except Kacha Marble like Burma Teak or Black Gold etc, its explained in above threads.

Most common types in PK are Veroona or Parleeno, if cheaper option required the Sunny White
