Btw nauman bhai, pehlay you had a custom made rear board, dobara OEM kyun lagay hei, it rattles like crazy, meri adhi umar iski rattle khatam karnay pey guzar gayi hei, but then again it only rattles on particular songs on the Focal no.9 otherwise it doesnt even make a sound.

Any specific technical reason to put it back, or was it just because of the asthetics?

Jee Sir 1st i had rear fill and now i am using the original parcel shelf. Mostly n mainly for aesthetics. Since there is no rear fill the grills in them acts as an air vent to facilitate the bass from the subwoofer into the cabin

I used Dynamat xtreme to damp the plastic board, didnt cover it fully, i went with the 25% theory on that one. The rattling has reduced alot like 90%. I do have some spare sheets of dynamat with me will use more of it for that purpose also some other sound absorbers such as "namda" lets see

Some queries....

1)Sir,where is 701 Alpine DSP...??

2)In distributor,which gauge of wires you are using for input and output...??

All are 4awg Sir.

3)Why you make a big hassle to install the Focal DM amp on the side facing the rear of rear passenger side INSTEAD of installing it on the rear fenders by making amp rack...??

These Focal amp sir are HUGE, by installing them on the side fender they will occupy loads of space. The current install i agree is not much to look at. But to me its practical, occupied minimum of space and all the wiring mess will be hidden behind the rear seat. To an onlooker the only thing he will be able to see wud be the Focal DD amp and the KRX3 xovers, which IMHO look pretty neat

I do have the itch to install everything on the trunk floor. But that wud be invitation to much more hassel and acoustically I wont be gaining any benefit from it. Aesthetically, Yes. ! But for that i will have to install fans to cool the amps, it wud be a real PIA if the tire runs flat and i need to access the spare wheel. To put some heavy luggage in the trunk wud be out of the question and also if i put light weight luggage they might scratch the amps and will restrict the air flow to the amp thus making them run hot.

My main goal atm is to achieve good sound quality, a sexy looking install is my secondary priority. But yes, if i come up with a solution of keeping the practicality as well as having a nice looking install, then sure why not :)

Long ago i used to be a basshead myself. But yes people here are converting to SQ setups and want to enjoy quality music rather than just bass.

Yup, back side also used heat gun (courtesy Dr Shaggy) when i applied it.

Ive also taken out the rear speakers for the same purpose, our basic layout is kind of similar.

Ive also put dynamat on the plastic deck, but still it rattles on some songs, i want that to go too :P, shahid bhai ney bataya tha about the nambda plan, waiting for you to try it out, so that i use the same thing.

Jee sir will try the namda scene, Dynamat basically just makes the stuff heavier to which it is applied thus lowering its resonating frequency. Namda and other liners are more of sound/ energy absorbers. Try martay hain

Plays DVD, CD, VCD, DIVx MP3, WMA, Ipod/ Iphone n USB capability, reverse cam capability, Bluetooth hands free capability. In short i am going for a full multimedia solution along with great sound and sick processing n yeah optical too

Sirrrr.. i may not have as much knowledge / experience as you have in car audio... but i'm digging into the world of wide web to find out which company offers that much in an audio / video unit... i checked clarion, nakamichi, eclipse.. none of them have the all the same in one unit.. prolly you're going for something similar to a DEEJAY we hav here already
looking forward to the setup sir.... i know its going to be something worth the wait..
